
Self-Archiving Policy
Emerging Trends in Education supports the dissemination and visibility of scientific knowledge through open-access practices and responsible self-archiving.
Authors retain the right to deposit, share, and disseminate their work through institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, personal websites, academic social networks, and other open-access platforms, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the original publication in the journal.
Authors may self-archive the postprint version of their manuscripts—that is, the published version—in institutional, subject-specific, or personal repositories, provided they comply with the terms of the Creative Commons license in effect for each issue. The deposit must include the permanent link to the article and its corresponding DOI.
Self-Archiving Conditions
-The original publication in Emerging Trends in Education must always be properly cited.
-The DOI assigned to the article by the journal should be included when available.
-Authorship, citation details, and editorial identification information may not be removed or modified.
-Self-archiving practices must comply with the terms of the Creative Commons license applicable to the article.
Embargo Period
Emerging Trends in Education does not impose embargo periods on the self-archiving of a manuscript, in accordance with its open-access policy.

The journal recognizes that self-archiving enhances the visibility, accessibility, academic impact, and citation of published works, thereby facilitating the dissemination of scientific knowledge among researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and the broader academic community.
This policy is consistent with the open-access principles promoted by DOAJ, OpenAIRE, Redalyc, AmeliCA, and other international initiatives dedicated to the democratization and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
