he study of dropout has become of vital importance and nowadays special attention is being paid to it. In the definition of strategies to help reduce this problem, there is a need to define school dropout and dropout, as well as to make an exhaustive reflection on the causes that originate it, in order to generate actions to support students at all educational levels, according to their real needs and in a prompt and equitable manner.
Dr. Ragueb Chaín Revuelta proposes to differentiate between the terms desertion, abandonment and expulsion, since they have different implications when talking about the causes that lead students to stop their studies at different educational levels and contexts. Dr. Chaín places special emphasis on how the causes are often determined by the configuration of the person who studies them, attributing their origins to the vision of the researcher's profession. Likewise, he urges to investigate the subject using current tools, such as artificial intelligence, to have a more concrete picture, avoiding the incorporation of too many variables in school trajectories. He recommends "that school administrators and directors responsible for educational programs have an attitude for early identification of risks".
